Alpha course
Alpha course -Saturday mornings
commencing with breakfast, from June 7th 2008
We aim to start with breakfast at 9.00am and be finished by 11am - we hope this will enable those with busy working weeks and those with spouses and children, to try to juggle for a bit of time to attend and still have a big chunk of the day remaining.
Alpha is a well known introductory course to the Christian faith - what it believes and why - which is designed to appeal both as a refresher course for existing church members as much as an introduction to the Christian faith for those who are interested in finding out more about what Christianity believes and has to offer to those searching for meaning and purpose in life.
We successfully ran two Alpha courses in Leigh during 2007- those who participated would love to share something of their experience with you, which included great food, lively discussion and debate, all as part of the experience! If you would like us to put you in touch with any of the previous attendees we would be very happy to do so-or just chat to any of us informally.
We will share more detail at RENEW and in April/ May editions of the magazine but overall we would be really pleased to have another group to draw together for this growing experience.
