WW2 Day

Thanks to all the parents of children in Class 3 who made a fantastic effort to send them

dressed as Evacuees last Friday. Mr & Mrs Laws and Mrs Clarke also made the day extra

special by planning fantastic activities. Two prizes were awarded to Lee Woodward and Harry

Taylor for brilliant Anderson shelter models. Everyone made a fantastic effort. Well done!

Outdoor Education Trip - Residential

The dates for the Standon Bowers trip for Y4 have been given as April 7th - 9th 2008. A 3

day residential will cost £75.60. Anyone in receipt of free school meals is entitled to a

remission payment. A meeting will be held in January for Y4 parents.

Christmas at All Saints

I have been asked to clarify the arrangements for

Christmas activities.

The Reception and Nursery children will perform their own

Nativity at All Saints Church at 2pm on Thursday,

December 13th. They will perform a 15 - 20 minute play.

The rest of the school will be there to support them. There

will be one performance due to the age of the children.

The rest of the school Y1- Y4 will take part in a “Victorian

Christmas Party”, a play chosen to ‘round off’ our 150th

Anniversary year. This will be performed twice: Monday,

December 17th at 2pm and Tuesday, December 18th at

6pm. Both performances will be at All Saints Church,

Leigh.

Thanks to all the families who attended the Bingo last week. It was a well supported event!
